报告题目: Results on main eigenvalues of graphs and signed graphs

报告内容：An eigenvalue λ of a graph G of order n is a main eigenvalue if its eigenspace is not orthogonal to the all-one vector j. In 1978, Cvetkov i'c proved that G has exactly one main eigenvalue if and only if G is regular, and posed the following long-standing problem: characterizing graphs of order n with k (2<=k<=n) main eigenvalues.

      There are a series of papers characterizing the graphs with exactly 2,n-1,n main eigenvalues. Graphs of order n with n, n-1 main eigenvalues are called controllable, almost controllable, respectively. In this talk, we review the results of main eigenvalues and report our research progress on main eigenvalues of graphs and signed graphs.

报告人简历：尤利华，华南师范大学数学科学学院教授，博士生导师，2011年入选广州市首批珠江科技新星。主要研究方向为组合矩阵论、图谱理论和张量超图谱，先后主持5项国家自然科学基金委基金项目、3项广东省自然科学基金委基金项目和1项广州市科信局基金项目，发表高水平学术论文70余篇。
