报告题目: Asymptotic decay for some defocusing nonlinear wave equations

报告内容:In this talk, I will report recent progress on global behaviors for solutions of energy subcritical defocusing semilinear wave equations with pure power nonlinearity. We prove various type of decay estimates for the solutions in Minkowski space for all space dimensions. In particular we solve a conjecture of T. Tao in dimension one. We also extend similar results to the Schwarzschild black hole spacetimes and to the Chern-Simons-Higgs equations in planar physics. These are based on joint works with H. Mei and D. Wei.
报告人简历:杨诗武现在是北京大学,北京国际数学研究中心副教授,于2013年获得普林斯顿大学博士学位,2013年至2016年在剑桥大学做博士后。主要研究方向是偏微分方程和广义相对论。
